The village of Ravda is situated between the town of Nessebar and the village of Aheloy. It is 30 km north of Bourgas - the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Next to Nessebar is Sunny Beach - one of the most luxurious Bulgarian resorts. The Varna-Bourgas main road passes only a kilometer from the village, and the Bourgas International Airport is 28 km away.
For many years Ravda was known as a place for youth and student camps but this has changed and today the resort is becoming a desired tourist destination.
The village offers sporting facilities and fine sandy beaches with umbrellas and deckchairs. The lack of industrial facilities makes the air clean. In the summer air temperatures are between 28-30 °C and those of the sea water - 20-26 °C.
In the centre of Ravda there is a multifunctional building with a fitness centre, library, post office and health centre. In the summer, there are sporting schools for yachting, water skiing, wind surfing, rowing and swimming. Small restaurants and taverns offer delicious seafood and traditional Bulgarian cuisine.
Ravda is easily accessible to tourists, guests and visitors. There are regular bus lines along the routes Ravda-Nessebar-Sunny Beach and Nessebar-Ravda-Bourgas, ordinary taxis run and private water transport to Bourgas and Nessebar.
Ravda Village has grown rapidly as a destination for foreign tourists and property buyers. The proximity to Sunny Beach has attracted large investments.
